Tomorrow, Oct. 17, is the last day to register for the Nov. 7 special election which for Salemites includes the payroll tax measure. Registration cards postmarked by the 17th or submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. are valid.

Ballots will be mailed out Wednesday, and must be returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

See the Marion County Election’s office website for information on how to vote, and the voter’s pamphlet. Check or update your registration on Oregon’s My Vote website.
