Good morning, Salem.

Dinosaurs have found a way back to Salem through a new exhibit at Discovery Room in the children’s corner at the Salem Public Library.

The hands on-learning space will give kids ages 4-10 a chance to “Discover Dinosaurs!” after a temporary closure to update the room.

The room closed on Wednesday, and will reopen at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, along with new hours for the space. The library is also adding new play elements in the Tiny Tot Play Space, open during all library hours.

Starting Tuesday, the Discovery Room will be open:

Tuesday through Thursday, 1-7 p.m.

Friday 1-5 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sunday 12 – 5 p.m.

A Town Hall open and free to the public will explore issues around Salem’s new wage tax. Salem Reporter is hosting the event Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Elsinore Theatre. Voters will get a chance to decide whether the tax stays in November.
