Air quality is fluctuating between “unhealthy for sensitive groups” and just plain “unhealthy” Tuesday afternoon, largely due to particulate matter in the air from two fires in east Lane County.
Oregon’s air quality website was intermittently down Tuesday, but you can check the latest air quality at AirNow.gov, a federal website.
Salem Health has reported patients complaining of dizziness or fainting after being outside in recent days, spokeswoman Lisa Wood said Tuesday afternoon.
