Your Monday evening update on Salem news

Good evening, Salem.
Our team was out Friday evening at Northgate Park talking to families as part of the Fun Friday event organized by the Hallman Neighborhood Family Council.

We asked residents of all ages to weigh in on their neighborhood — the good and the bad — and collected responses on poster boards. “The park” was a common bright spot among residents, while many mentioned graffiti, homelessness and drugs as things they’d like to change.
Reporter Ardeshir Tabrizian will write more about what we learned later this week.
