Our news team will be out Friday afternoon in Northgate Park as part of the Fun Friday event put on by the Hallman and Kennedy Neighborhood Family Councils.

Managing Editor Rachel Alexander and reporters Ardeshir Tabrizian, Abbey McDonald and Natalie Sharp will be there to chat with families about the challenges and opportunities in their neighborhoods. We’ll also have sidewalk chalk available for kids to express themselves.

Stop by the park, 3575 Fairhaven Ave N.E. from 4-7:30 p.m. for the free event, and enjoy music, food, the splash pad and more.
