Good morning, Salem.

It’s the last day local teens can apply to serve on the Salem Public Library Teen Advisory Board, a middle and high school-aged leadership development program.

Western University of Health Sciences Lebanon Oregon

Board members duties include helping with library events, raising money for teen programs and reviewing advanced copies of upcoming books, according to the application page.

Members are expected to serve at least one year and up to seven years on the board.

Students entering grades 6 through 11 are eligible to join. There will be live panel interviews with finalists before board members are selected.

Applications must be received by 6 p.m. Friday. Learn more and apply online.
