Today’s edition comes with a special story – we’re reprinting the fine work of high school journalists from Grant Magazine, the student-run publication of Grant High School in Portland.
A trio of reporters there dug into an independent sports journalist who made a name for himself highlighting female high school athletes on an Instagram account, and was a regular face around Salem.
Salem-Keizer School District officials banned Eric Watkins from district events after determining he was sending inappropriate, flirtatious messages to teens as young as 13, Grant Magazine reported.
