Samhain Celtic New Year Festival returns Saturday
Salem’s annual Samhain Celtic New Year Festival is returning in-person Saturday after two years of celebrating virtually.
The festival is slated for Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Willamette Heritage Center, 1313 Mill St. S.E., according to a press release.
Samhain marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter in Gaelic culture. It traditionally takes place on Nov. 1.
