Salem’s “Ride of Silence” returns for another year to honor cyclists killed, injured

Dozens of cyclists will ride through downtown in silence this week to honor lives changed and lost by crashes on Salem’s roads.
Two local groups are hosting the annual Ride of Silence on Wednesday, May 20, to recognize bicyclists who were seriously injured or killed while riding.
The ride is part of a bigger movement that raises public awareness of cyclists’ right to share the road.
