The city of Salem wants to know what you think about trees.

Through an online survey the city is seeking information that will help it improve city tree programs, through questions like what would make people plant more trees on their property.

Salem has a goal of reaching 28% tree canopy, the total area in Salem shaded by trees, by 2030. In 2019, the canopy was 24%.

People who fill out the survey have a chance at winning a $50 gift card.

The survey is also available in Spanish.
