What’s on Salem’s ballots this May Election Day
With less than a week before the Tuesday, May 19, election, Salem voters are busy assessing who they want to see controlling the Salem City Council at a pivotal moment that could fundamentally change which course the city takes.
They’ll decide between Salem Mayor Julie Hoy and her challenger, Salem City Councilor Vanessa Nordyke.
There are four council races, with incumbents and challengers aligned with either a progressive or conservative platform.
