Calls grow for Rep. Greg Smith to resign as state Republican leaders stay mum

UPDATE 2 :30 p.m. Saturday: Greg Smith has posted an endorsement from the House Republican leader.

A third county Republican committee is calling on state Rep. Greg Smith to resign his House seat over ethical lapses.

The Wasco County Central Republican Committee voted to do so on Monday, Feb. 16.

  1. If you are an elected official you have taking an oath to service the all the people of region/area you were elected. You have being instructed in ethics of the office. If you have violated the ethics of that office then you need to step down. This turn for every branch of government…. Federal, State, Country or City. The people have put their trust in you to do your elected job within the laws and ethics of that office. By violating them you have miss represented the people.
