Salem artist will explore large prints, community programming after winning prestigious fellowship
Yanely Rivas Maldonado makes art that goes to work.
A 2011 graduate of McKay High School, she was drawn into the art world primarily through a social advocacy project she participated in while studying at the University of Oregon, she said.
