Salem protest planned for Saturday in response to Minneapolis ICE shooting

On Wednesday morning, local activist Thom Gapen got a push notification on his phone from The New York Times, stating an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent had fatally shot someone in Minneapolis.

By that evening, Gapen and other members of Salem Region Indivisible had begun the work to organize a local demonstration in response.
