Good evening, Salem.
Driving around northeast Salem might take more time due to road work that starts Monday.
The city of Salem posted on Facebook Friday that a month of roadwork on Northeast Hazelgreen Road kicks off Monday morning. City crews will be working on “utility and half street improvements” until Feb. 4, a city website said.
The eastbound lane of Hazelgreen Road between Northeast Portland and Cordon Roads will be closed on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the next month, the city’s Facebook post said. Drivers should plan to find alternate routes to avoid the construction.
A full map of the city’s construction project and traffic impacts is available online here. For more information about the road work or other projects, call the city at 503-588-6211 or email [email protected].
