Good evening, Salem.
Salem’s Human Rights Commission wants your questions about rights related to immigration.
The city is organizing a “Know Your Rights” forum focused on immigration to be held the week of Dec. 15. It’s one of the steps Salem is taking after city councilors approved an emergency declaration over immigration enforcement efforts earlier this month.
People can submit questions here to be answered by experts during the forum. It will be livestreamed and recorded at a time to be determined, with answers in English and Spanish, the city said in a Facebook post.
