The Latest Stories For You From Salem Reporter

Good morning, Salem.
If you want to get a sneak preview of what’s in store for the city’s Peace Plaza, or want to provide some of your own input, the design team in charge of renovating the park will be at the Salem Public Library on Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m.
Peace Plaza is the courtyard between Salem City Hall, which is currently undergoing seismic renovation, and the library.
The event will take place in the Anderson Room at the main library, 585 Liberty St. S.E. and will include a 20 minute presentation by the design team.
The team will showcase what they have in mind for the park. After that, members of the team will fan out around the room with boards and easels, and will be ready to talk with people about the current design.
They will also be there to take feedback and answer any questions about the project.
