The Forge’s transformation nears completion with ‘exciting’ developments still on the horizon
The Forge’s investors still have big plans for the future.
The Forge, formerly called Liberty Plaza, is the latest major development to open in downtown Salem after over a year of renovations transformed a largely vacant building into a new retail and business hub.
It was bought in 2023 by Chris Blackburn, part-owner of construction firm Clutch Industries, a Salem real estate development company. Leasing is overseen by Tradition Real Estate Partners.
