St. Vincent de Paul stores now recycle mattresses for free with new law
Marion County residents can now haul any old mattress to their local St. Vincent de Paul store to have it recycled for free.
It’s a part of the Oregon Mattress Stewardship Program, created under a new state law that took effect in January. The law aims to reduce the amount of mattresses going into landfills and prevent illegal dumping.
