Nearly everyone has a favorite scam story.
For example, you may have received a text meant for “Theresa,” suggesting you get together. When you responded, “no Theresa here,” the texter wants to get to know you. Or there’s the scam message threatening your driving privileges because of unpaid road tolls. Or the email from a “friend” – even with her correct e-mail address – asking you to buy a gift card from Amazon.
