24-year-old woman shot during Fourth of July fight in central Salem parking lot
A young woman was shot Saturday, July 4, after the shooter alleged he was attacked by people lighting off fireworks.
The incident happened in a private parking lot in the 1400 block of Southeast Mill Street. Salem Police Department spokesman Sgt. Jon Hardy declined to confirm which parking lot in the area the shooting happened.
