Salem-area teen leadership conference returns, seeks award nominees

A local leadership conference for high school-age youth is back for its 16th year and looking for award nominees.

The one-day “ILEAD” summit, sponsored by the city of Salem, Marion County and Boys and Girls Club of Salem, offers programming for over 100 teens centered on leadership development and personal growth. 

The free summit, open to all high school-aged youth living in Marion, Linn and Polk counties, is accepting registrations until March 5. It…
