Salem Human Rights Commission planning immigration rights session

Dozens of people have submitted questions as the city Human Rights Commission prepares a virtual information session detailing individual rights when encountered by federal immigration officials. 

The Q&A session is the first concrete step taken under Salem’s recently declared state of emergency over a spike in federal immigration activity. That has led to dozens of people being arrested and detained.
