Residents displaced by 2-alarm house fire in south Salem, one firefighter injured
A two-alarm fire heavily damaged two homes and displaced residents of a mobile home park in south Salem Sunday night.
One firefighter was injured by the fire’s heat in combination with the temperature outside, which reached 100 degrees in Salem Sunday. He was treated and released at a local hospital Sunday night, Assistant Salem Fire Chief Brian Carrara said.
