Hoopla plans to go big with campaign for year-round sports complex

Jason Unruh teared up recalling the earliest days of the basketball tournament he’s hosted in Salem for 25 years.

“I never really think about way back then, and how far we’ve come,” he said. “To think about the thousands and thousands of people we’ve affected positively — it just really means a lot, you know?”
