Southeast Turner Road is back open after a semi-truck trailer blocking traffic was removed, according to the Salem Police Department

Southeast Turner road is closed to traffic after a semi-trailer truck became partly stuck in a ditch, the Salem Police Department said Friday afternoon.

The semi-trailer was blocking traffic in the 250 block of Southeast Turner Road.

Salem police said in a tweet that northbound and southbound traffic is closed “while the situation is resolved.” The department announced the closure just before 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Drivers are asked to find alternate routes.
