City fair offers guidance in Spanish on housing assistance, grants

Spanish speakers in Salem can find a one-stop shop for learning about business development, funding opportunities and government jobs Tuesday at the city’s senior center.

The city of Salem will host a resource fair intended to provide information in Spanish that is “helpful to families, households and business people,” according to the city’s website, which includes information in Spanish.

The event is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Center 50+, 2615 Portland Rd. N.E.

Those who attend can learn about applying for business licenses, grant funding, signing up to sell at events and markets, growing a business, applying to work at the city and getting housing assistance, according to the city’s website.
