If the spring weather has you in a gardening mood, you can stock up at one of Salem’s largest plant sales starting Friday.
The annual Friends of Deepwood plant sale will take place Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Deepwood Museum & Gardens parking lot at the corner of 12th Street Southeast and Southeast Lee Street.
The sale will feature “a variety of hard-to-find Oregon native and companion plants to add to your garden,” according to a press release.
The annual sale’s proceeds largely benefit the historic museum and go toward its preservation. The sale will also feature free guided tours of Deepwood’s nature trails at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., and of the formal gardens at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. both days.
