Portion of 27th Avenue Southeast to close for infrastructure improvements

Starting Wednesday, 27th Avenue Southeast will be closed between Southeast Boone Road and Southeast Kuebler Boulevard until Sept. 30.

Construction crews are making infrastructure improvements to the area, the city of Salem said in a news release.

Traffic on 27th Avenue south of Boone Road will be directed to Southeast Battle Creek Road where a new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of Southeast Battle Creek and Boone roads.
