World Beat announced early this year that the annual festival would be canceled for the second year in a row because of the uncertainty around Covid restrictions.

“The past 15 months have been exceptionally challenging. This grant will help us to navigate the coming year financially,” said executive director Kathleen Fish.

The World Beat Gallery is preparing for its next exhibit to open in mid-June. The gallery is partnering with Gilbert House Children’s Museum for “Play! Toys and Games Around the World.”
