Polk County issues burn ban

Polk County has issued burn ban from Wednesday to Sunday, April 18 because of higher temperatures, low humidity and moderate wind in the forecast.

The ban applies to all outdoor burning, including backyard fire pits, yard debris burns and agricultural burning.

Marion County and Salem have issued similar bans because of forecasted weather.
