Two rallies with two opposing goals converged on the Oregon State Capitol Saturday, with attendees of both events engaging in discussions and disagreements about police reform.

Attendees with a rally called “Back the Blue” marched from the Oregon State Capitol to City Hall to show their support for law enforcement. Another rally called “War on Racism” aimed to hold discussions on racism and how to affect change.

About 100 people showed up to each event and attendees briefly clashed from across the street.
