Traffic alert: Parade will pause traffic May 16 on Keizer’s River Road

Drivers planning to drive to – or through – Keizer on Saturday, May 16, may need to be patient as a parade will temporarily shut down the city’s main thoroughfare.

The event is the Keizer Chamber of Commerce’s Bloomin’ Iris KeizerFEST Parade. The array of floats, equestrians, musicians and decorated vehicles will roll down North River Road from Lockhaven Drive to North Glynbrook Street, starting at 10:30 a.m.
