Nine Marion County inmates released, returned to prison due to state sentencing changes

Nine inmates convicted of crimes in Marion County were recently freed from state prison.
The Oregon Department of Corrections had cut their sentences by years, months or days.
Now, all nine of them are back in custody after a surprising roundup by authorities days before Thanksgiving.
Other inmates who were told they too would be getting out early could instead end up serving their original sentences.
