School board to vote on deputy superintendent contracts

Two top Salem-Keizer School District executives may see their contracts renewed at a school board meeting next week.
School board members will vote on new three-year contracts for Olga Cobb, the deputy superintendent overseeing elementary schools, and Danielle Neves, the deputy superintendent overseeing middle and high schools. Their meeting is Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 6 p.m.
Both would receive their current salary of $208,788 through July 1. They would then receive a cost-of-living raise.
