Salem-Keizer will expand weapon detectors to all high schools this school year

Salem-Keizer School District officials are expanding weapon detectors to all district high schools this school year after what they described as a successful pilot at South Salem High School.
District leaders announced the expansion Friday morning. They said specific rollout dates for each school would be communicated by high school principals “in the coming weeks.”
