AGENDA: Marion County Commissioners to approve contracts for security, ballot printing

Marion County Commissioners will consider a few contracts and purchases at their regular meeting Wednesday.

The commissioners will consider approving a $420,000 contract for janitorial service at Marion County Health and Human Service buildings. The contract would be awarded to Sustainable Cleaning Systems, according to the county agenda.

Commissioners will also consider extending a contract for unarmed security at those health and human service buildings. The extension would add two years and $330,000 to the contract with Advanced Security, Inc.

And commissioners will consider extending the county’s contract with Lynx Group for ballot printing. Lynx Group’s contract would extend their contract six months, to December 2020, and pay an additional $120,000, according to the agenda.
