A Oregon Health Authority Covid vaccination site at the Oregon State Fair & Expo Center in Salem is now offering free flu shots, according to the agency.

The indoor drive-thru clinic is at 1935 Silverton Road N.E., on the north side of the fairgrounds in the white tents, the agency said in a statement.

It is open Thursdays through Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The location is one of three “high-volume” Covid vaccination sites in the state now offering free flu vaccines, according to the statement.

No appointments, proof of insurance or immigration status are required.

Public health experts encourage anyone six months and older who has not had a flu shot this season to get one,” the statement said.

People can also get flu shots at pharmacies, urgent care clinics or their provider’s office. Flu shots can be found by zip code online.
