Agenda: Polk County Commission to review garbage collection rate increase

The Polk County Commission has a light agenda this week. At its Wednesday meeting, it will consider a rate increase for garbage collection from Brandt’s Sanitary Service, Inc.

The commission will also vote on approval January and February business, including licenses, payroll and personnel actions.

The commission will finish the meeting in executive session. Public bodies can use executive session to privately discuss things like personnel discipline or purchase of property.

Meeting details: Wednesday, March 13 at 9 a.m. at the Polk County Courthouse, 850 S Main St., Dallas.
