Salem has two openings on its North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board for residents of Ward 5 or 6 to join.
The board advises the Urban Renewal Agency on conservation, rehabilitation and redevelopment matters within the North Gateway Urban Renewal Area, about 926 acres in north Salem.
Terms last three years.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month. However, the board is only required to meet once a quarter.
There are several other boards and commissions that have openings, like Center 50+ Advisory Committee, Community Police Review Board and Salem Human Rights Commission.
