The Salem City Council is meeting Monday evening for a work session to discuss how it has made progress on goals set last year.

Last year the council had five goals included in the Strategic Plan: addressing homelessness, creating community resilience, increasing equitable delivery of city services, building great neighborhoods, and taking action on climate change.

The council will also consider community feedback from an annual community satisfaction survey, updates on major initiatives and begin identifying next year’s priorities.

Those priorities help guide the city’s budgeting process.

How to participate: The meeting starts at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15. View the meeting at CC:Media Channel 21 or on YouTube. Submit comments on agenda items by 5 p.m. on the day of the meeting at [email protected].
