Some 567 cyclists from across the Pacific Northwest participated in the 45th Monster Cookie Ride on Sunday, Aug. 29.

“For 44 years we started at the Capitol building. This was the first time we’ve started in Keizer, it was quiet and you’re into the beautiful rural area very quickly. Everyone absolutely loved the route and loved Keizer,” said Hersch Sangster, ride organizer.
