UPDATE 4:04 p.m.: The driver was identified as 22-year-old Roberto Martinez, of Salem.
A driver died after crashing into an unoccupied truck on Highway 99 E near Brooks Tuesday morning, Oregon State Police said in a news release.
Police said the driver of a Ford Focus was driving southbound around 1:23 a.m. when the car left the road, crashing through a fence and into a truck.
The driver’s name and city of residence weren’t immediately released.
