Twenty-five local schools will be renovated in 2021 as the Salem-Keizer School District enters the busiest year of its years-long construction blitz - one of the largest such efforts in Oregon history.

Expansions at McKay High School, the largest and most crowded school in the district, are underway and scheduled to be completed in time for the start of the next school year.

South Salem High School is also in progress, with significant seismic work, a new addition for classrooms and an auditorium being built.
