Ever wanted to skinny dip in the Willamette River? Saturday night is your chance. The Naked Goddess Swim encourages participants to shed their inhibitions — and their clothes — during a night swim in Riverview Park.
Goddesses should wear a robe and sandals, and bring a small flotation device, like a floatie or noodle.
Check-in starts at 8:30 p.m., and mandatory safety meeting starts at 9:00 p.m. Tickets cost $30 and can be purchased online. 50 C Street, Independence.

There’s a Fish Fest at Riverfront Park Saturday, but you won’t need your poles. Fans can enjoy Oregon’s largest Christian music festival with artists like Matt Maher, Zach Williams and We Are Messengers. Gates open at noon and the festival ends around 10 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair.

Are you good at finding clues? You and might want to try your hand at the Great Salem Race. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday teams will travel three to five miles around downtown Salem on a scavenger hunt.
There’s a competitive division and a more laid-back casual division. Teams often dress up in coordinated costumes. Afterwards there’s a party with live music and food to celebrate. Check in starts at 9 a.m. and the two-hour event begins at 10 a.m. at the Salem Convention Center.

Living with less is in vogue. As housing prices skyrocket and people think more about their environmental footprint, many have turned away from the idea of a three-story, two-car garage home. The tiny living lifestyle will be on display at Polk County Fairgrounds this weekend during TinyFest Northwest. The event will showcase small homes on wheels and give visitors a glimpse into what makes the lifestyle so attractive.
A single day ticket costs $10 online plus fees or $15 at the gate. A weekend pass costs $15 plus fees online or $20 at the gate. The event runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 520 S. Pacific Hwy W., Rickreall. Tickets and information can be found on the TinyFest website.
