PHOTOS: Scenes from Salem as ice blankets the city

Streets around Salem have been quiet as much of the city hunkers down following a coating of ice, but a handful of human and non-human residents have been out and about in parks.

More ice is expected starting Tuesday afternoon, with forecasters warning power outages are likely.
