PHOTOS: Salem kids join police for games, cookies

Salem kids got a chance to test police officers’ skills at the board game table Tuesday.

Families came to the Salem Police Department for the “Cookie with a Cop” event, eating treats while playing Sorry, Connect Four, Trouble and other classics.

Officer Mark Jantz with the department’s crime prevention program, said the department began Cookie with a Cop as a kids’ program last year with an event in Englewood Park.
