PHOTOS: Dragon boats give their all at 2023 World Beat

Twenty-eight regional teams took up paddles over the weekend at the World Beat Festival’s dragon boat races.

Races ended often with top competitors finishing only seconds apart. After more than 30 heats, the winning teams were:

Catch 22 Hurricane – Mixed Final

Catch 22 Tsunami – Women A Final

Golden Dragons Women – Women B Final

Topside, she has been taking photographs since age 12, and currently works on assignment for the Salem Reporter, and full time purchasing land for fish and wildlife habitat in the Willamette Valley. Laura attended Oregon State University, and has traveled extensively all over the world and the United States.
