PHOTOS: Online students meet up in Salem for Halloween pumpkin fun

Students of Willamette Connections Academy, a full-time online public charter school, took a field trip this week to Riverfront Park in Salem to gather and decorate pumpkins of every shape and size and spend time with their fellow classmates.

About two dozen students, family members and teachers attended the decorating event on Monday, where they painted and pasted googly eyes, pipe cleaners and glitter.
