This year’s Salem Art Fair had a sky full of color and art with new drone and laser shows, along with lots of joy and excitement with the switch from July heat to a cooler date in September. Although early numbers suggest attendance was down a little, the Salem Art Association was happy to see people attend the fair for longer compared to previous years.

The 75th Salem Art Fair & Festival will be held Sept. 13-15, 2024, Salem Art Association leaders announced. The change from a July event comes in a bid to avoid the worst heat of summer after the event was moved into an unshaded pasture to protect nearby oak trees.
